The Bali Island is famous for its beaches so it would be wrong to assume from the title of my blog that Sanur and Kuta is the only two beach worth going to. Every beach has their own appeal for travelers and let me tell you a little about them.

Kuta Sunset |
Kuta beach is the most popular for visitors looking for an island paradise where they can still enjoy a hint of urban entertainment. It has varied accommodations from four star hotels to budget hostels for backpackers, affordable bars and clubs, great local and international dining spots, all within walking distance to a palm fringed beach where you can also get surfing lessons. It is also the number 1 sunset spot in Bali.

Seminyak |
Legian beach is right next to Kuta and is quite similar to Kuta with an even more extravagant nightlife.
Seminyak beach is a few miles north of Kuta and is a bit more cool and upper class. Home to the best bars and restaurants in Bali and also a number of fashion boutiques.
There is also the quiet and tranquil Jimbaran beach, Nusa Dua beach with it's exclusive hotels, Tanjung Benoa with it's water sport operators, and Candidasa with it's cultural treasures.

Sanur beach is actually the first area developed for tourism in Bali, but unlike other areas in Bali, Sanur is mostly unchanged and remains one of Bali's biggest traditional village. It is also the best spot for sunrise viewing in Bali.
